The Thomann Renaissance Lute 7/13 pays tribute to the rich musical heritage of the Renaissance period. Modestly priced and carefully built, it offers an authentic tonal character that compares favourably to more costly models. This seven-course lute features thirteen strings tuned in FF–GG–CC–FF–AA–DD–G, secured with traditional wooden pegs on an angled pegbox. With a scale length of approximately 60cm and a total length of just 77cm, the instrument is compact enough to fit into a piece of hand luggage. It is also supplied with a soft, foam-padded gig bag that provides protection and includes additional storage via exterior pockets.

The body of the Thomann Renaissance Lute 7/13 is crafted from ten lacewood ribs forming a cohesive bowl, paired with a spruce soundboard.
