What you expect for the price

This mic is okay, nothing more and nothing much less. Firstly, it is not a discrete microphone, it's rather large. Secondly the sound quality isn't anything spectacular, but does the job for speech. If you are looking for a cheap mic for your system then this is the one

Fine for it's purpose

This lapel mic is fine for it's purpose.

The cable is long enough to clip on to a person at the right height without a mile of cable that you need to try and hide on the person.

Sound quality is also fine, not cheap and tiny sounding. Perhaps a little boomy innitialy but this can be easily compensated for with normal 3 band eq on any desk.

Not the most inconspicuous lapel mic around but for the price and quality and it's not worth complaining about!
