A valuable piece of kit to have when rigging gigs, very versatile in use. However the construction is a little the rough around the edges as the steel rope can be a bit coarse and the clips a little difficult to arrange in a good position and screw closed. I guess their reasonable price reflects these elements. I'd recommend them if they were to be used in situ foor a long period of time

While this safety chain is fine and suitable for permanently hanging equipment, it is difficult to open and close because the size of the cable make it difficult to pass through the gap in the clip when opening or closing it.
