Der Sound ist ziemlich schwer zu beschreiben. Der typische Seymour Duncan Sound mit etwas betonteren Höhen, trotzdem sehr Druckvoll! Man merkt deutlich das es ein Replikat des Steghumbuckers aus Jimmy Page´s number one Les Paul ist.

Am besten hört man sich die ersten drei Lieder (Good times bad times/ Ramble on/ Black dog) vom Led Zeppelin Konzert 2007 "Celebration Day" an. In den ersten drei Liedern hört man eindeutig den speziellen Klang des Humbuckers.

Also immer wenn ich spiele, muss ich an dieses Konzert denken.

Er hat trotzdem diesen alten Page, Beck, Clapton und (gesplittet) Hendrix klang.
Für jede Art von Verzerrung geeignet (bis auf death metal Gedöns ;) ).
