Ich habe das Mundstück auf eine Empfehlung probiert und war sofort sehr angetan. Im Vergleich zu einem Yamaha Custom 3M und einem Selmer S80D konnte es sich sehr schnell durchsetzen.

Der größte Unterschied zum S80 Model ist, dass das Super Session wie ein hohes Altsax klingt. Das S80er Model klingt eher in die Richtung "Oboe".

Für mich ist das Super Session leicht spielbar und hat zudem eine sehr gute Intonation. Damit kann man es für relativ viele Stilrichtungen verwenden. Allerdings ist ein Super Session E deutlich offener als ein C*/D der Serie S80, daher keine Empfehlung für den reinen Klassikbereich.

Beide Mundstücke habe ich auf den Sound-Charakter, Spielbarkeit bzgl. Luftwiderstand und gleichmäßigen Toncharakter über das ganze Instrumentenregister gestestet.
Das verwendete Blatt war ein Rigotti Gold 2 1/2, welches ich auf meinem S7 Vandoren V16 Mundstück eingespielt habe.

Sound-Charakter:
Die Muntücke klingen beide relativ strahlend mit einem für das Sopransaxophon (mein Selmer MK6) angenehmen Klang (nicht zu schrill).
Spielbarkeit:
Der Widerstand der Mundstücke ist ok vielleicht für die beiden Bahnen der beiden Mundstücke etwas zu schwer.
Toncharakter:
Hier waren beide Mundstücke gleich gut, es gab keinen Unterschied im Soundcharakter über das ganze Register.

Zusammenfassend:
Die Mundstücke sind empfehlenswert. Es sollten aber mehrere getestet werden, da die Fertigungschargen doch immer wieder unterschiedlich sein können.
