Very strong head that will stand up to lots of heavy playing. I sometimes like to use it as a resonant head along with a warm head like a coated Emperor as my batter. It offers an alternative sound to the punchy, studio-esque sounds that everyone seems to strive for these days. Variety is the spice of life! ;-)

Etwas dumpf, aber satt!

Habe mein Set komplett mit Powerstroke eingekleidet, bin vom Sound her aber nur in die Bassdrumm und Floortom verliebt, Snare bedarf nachstimmen aber grade bei den Toms vermisse ich etwas Obertöne - hätte mir auch früher einfallen können bei verstärktem Rand; es fehlt halt etwas an Klang. Dennoch klingen die Felle bei Mikrofonabnahme satt und direkt und können somit live super verwendet werden, aber für den Proberaumgebrauch wäre es besser mal in die obertonreichere Serie von Remo gegangen. Dennoch, wer Obertöne in den Toms gerne vermeiden würde, sollte sich diese Felle holen.
