Ich habe dieses Splaschbecken für das Schlagzeug meines Sohnes gekauft, als Erweiterung seiner Beckenauswahl. Da es sich um ein blaues Set handelt, passt die Farbe des Paiste natürlich perfekt. Es hebt sich deutlich vom üblichen Bronze anderer Becken ab und ist so ein wahrer Hingucker. Die Verarbeitung ist toll. Man hat das Gefühl, etwas Wertiges in der Hand zu halten. Auch soundmäßig und das ist wohl am wichtigsten, kann es sich wirklich hören lassen. Es setzt sich gut durch, ohne jedoch zu aufdringlich oder gar unangenehm zu klingen. Sicherlich gibt es Modelle anderer Hersteller, bzw. auch aus Paistes höherer Serie, die klanglich noch feiner abgestimmt sind, mit schönerer Resonanz usw., jedoch legt man dafür dann auch einiges mehr auf den Tisch. Letztlich bleibt das ja auch Geschmackssache. Ich bin mit unserer Auswahl jedenfalls sehr zufrieden.
