I used these as speaker sockets on a 2x10" guitar cab.
The switched sockets mean I can use the cabinet as mono or stereo just by plugging into the correct socket on the rear. They have been installed and working for over a year now with no problems.

Also used for headphone extensions and splitter cables. Easy to solder, adapts to a range of panel thicknesses.

Ordering more very soon.

i brought 16 of these to make a custom stage box up and was not disappointed with them. they are made really well with enough room to get though thick bits of plastic. i highly recommend these if you are building any custom unit.

Great for repairs, I always carry spares to be prepared.

Although these jacks are plastic, I don't think you could find a switched jack for 16 pence anywhere but thomann. Used one in a converted leslie speaker, and it's doing great so far.

As expected from Neutrik .. top tier quality and functionality.

I used this socket in a small stage box. Although the terminals are PCB mount I had no problems soldering the wires directly onto the terminals. Good quality as you would expect from Neutrik.
Mounting hole diameter 11mm in case you need it.

used this in my 2x 12 cabinet after one of the inputs jacks started giving me trouble
it was a perfect replacement & had no problems at all
seemed better quality than the one it replaced

This is a good quality connector.

It is doing it's job. I use it for non audio purpose
