Sehr schönes Becken, schnelle Ansprache, durchsetzungsstarker sauberer Sound. Wunderbar für Rock, Pop, Funk etc. nicht geeignet für Jazzer.

Gerade wenn man etwas härter draufhaut sollte man sich für die medium Thin oder die medium Ausführung entscheiden.
Sehr schön ist, dass man Meinl Becken wunderbar miteinander kombinieren kann.

Je ne joue quasiment que sur du Meinl. Une des meilleures cymbals de mon arsenal. Elle s'adapte à tous les styles de jeu et de musique. On ne peut pas se tromper en l'adoptant.

Ich brauche dieses Crash als Maincrash in meiner progressiv-Metal Band und es ist einfach ein Traum. Aber bevor ich weiter darüber schwärme, hier ein paar Erkenntnisse:

Ich suchte nach einem Crash, welches einen breiten Dynamikbereich hat und relativ tief klingt.

Da sich beim Meinl 18" Byzance Med. Thin Crash Brilliant, wie es der Name schon sagt um ein Thin Crash handelt, erhält man beim Anschlag einen relativ tiefen Crash Sound. Genau nach so etwas habe ich nämlich gesucht.

Die Dynamicrange ist umwerfend. Man kann das Crash in sehr leisen und ruhigen Passagen spielen, wenn man es braucht sogar von Hand, aber auch in sehr extremen und Lauten Spielsituationen, ohne dass es schlapp macht.

Fazit: Neues Favorite Crash-Cymbal gefunden. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen

Tief und sehr dynamisch

Dieses Becken hat für 18" einen eher tieferen Klang, eine schnelle Ansprache und ist deshalb eher für härtere Musik geeignet.
Die Verarbeitung ist bei Meinl im hochpreisigeren Bereich wie immer top.
Durch die "Rillen" sieht man Fingerabdrücke nicht so stark, das ist aber ein allgemeiner Nachteil vom Brilliant Finish.
Der etwas "glasigere" Klang, der dadurch entsteht, gefällt mir aber in Kombination mit dem tieferen Ton recht gut.
