Great sounding cymbal for rock/metal

I was in need of a second cymbal for my kit (I have a full set of Paiste cymbals), and stumbled across this. At first I was a bit hesitant, seeing as the cymbal was unlike anything I'd tried before, but I was pleased with how it turned out.
The sound is very tinny with quite a long sustain, which works really well in the right environment and with the right songs. It also works well in contrast with my other cymbals too. Cuts through nicely to allow bass and snares to come through alongside it.
My only issue with it, which may be solely personal, is that being a very thin cymbal, it can outbalance the volume levels of other cymbals around the kit. In my case, I was using heavier cymbals.

Overall, if you're looking for something sharp, loud and metallic with a decent build for not too much money, this is great!

Ich gehöre zu den Schlagzeugern die beim Kauf eines Beckens eben auf Klang und Preis schaut da ich jetzt nicht gerade die großen Finanziellen mittel zur verfügung habe und besitze deshalb ein paar gebrauchte und neue von ich sag jetzt mal inseidermarken (Istanbul Mehmet, Istanbul Agop) die eben auch in der niederen Preisklasse wie die teuren klingen.
Bisher dachte ich das ich nie wirklich zu Meinl Becken käme da die wirklich guten mir zu teuer sind und den Preis der Mittleren puschen wie es eben bei den Topmarken so ist...
Deshalb war ich sehr überrascht ein wirklich günstiges Meinl Becken zu finden das mich klanglich so überzeugt (natürlich Geschmackssache) klanglich sind die o-Zone von sabian aax und hhx meiner Meinung nach besser aber sie kosten eben das doppelte.
Derzeit benutze ich es nicht mehr so wie direkt nach dem Kauf aber damals hatte ich es als stack mit meinem ersten Becken (Meinel Classik 14" kostet ähnlich aber klanglich nicht annähernd das Niveau) das ich jetzt aber nicht mehr am Set habe da es jetzt nicht wirklich zu den wohlklingendsten gehört... aber als stack zu diesem Becken war das classic custom sogar deutlich (natürlich wieder nach meinem Geschmack) besser als die zuvor genante teure konkurenz von Sabian.

Im Endeffekt würde ich sagen das es ein guter Kauf war da die Preisleistung stimmt, wer aber Extraklasse will findet bessere.
