Great product

My pegs were very stiff and while I wait to replace them I needed something to make them work without damaging my fiddle. you have to find the right amount to put on but when you do life is suddenly easier! Definitely recommended

There is some quality issues sometimes i get better and sometimes not so great sample thruout years. One can be softer nice to work with and sometumes can be harder thal is not so compact. Thuse both are usable. That is why i gave 4*

I have 3 fiddles that have been in my family for at least 3 generations, mostly dating to the 19th century but not from highly desirable makers (one is a fake 'strad' dated to 1747). I play traditional Irish music. Not one of them could be reliably tuned with the pegs alone and 30 years ago I put fine tuners on all strings as the pegs were either so tight that I feared they would break, or else just lost grip altogether. This stuff is wonderful. Extremely easy to apply, slightly soft, run in it for a couple of revolutions and string back up. All of my fiddles can now be easily tuned with the pegs. Nearly cried with happiness.

My violin pegs didn't work so well but, after putting some of this it turns pretty well. Not bad, im happy with it. 🙂
