Simply better

If your fiddle is warm and richly expressive until you hit the E string, but then becomes hard & metallic in tone, try this Pirastro Gold. I use Evah Pirazzi strings and this transformed the top octave of my violin, matching the tone of the other strings perfectly. I will not be going back....

Love this E string

I paired the Pirastro Gold E (Medium) with a Thomastik Dominant set on my Stentor Verona, and the result is excellent. The Gold E adds a smooth, warm tone without the harshness some E strings can have, and it blends nicely with the Dominants. Clear response, no whistling, and a noticeable upgrade in projection—especially on the upper register. Highly recommended combo for intermediate violins like the Verona.

Cheap, powerful, perfectly balanced, great performance level, comfortable. It is my favorite E string and I use to match with other brands, such as Thomastik or Larsen.

I love this E string

I use this string in combination with the Thomastik Dominant strings. I've started to use this combination of strings because I've read that many professionals also use this combination and that it fits most violins. As a beginner with not a lot of experience and/or money I don't feel like experimenting a lot. So I believed what I read and bought this one. And I'm perfectly happy with it!
I like that this string doesn't sound so metallic. I get a nice sound in higher positions as well. And there are no weird extra noises that I had with an other brand. I used it on my cheap violin and it gave a nice sound. Now I'm using it on my better violin too, and it sounds great too, so I will keep buying this one in the future.
Also I very much like the ordering process with Thomann. It's easy to track the goods and the delivery is very fast which is awesome!
