Harley Benton MB-4 SBK Deluxe Series

Bought this bass as my first and it has just caused me problems to no end due to it's cheap build quality, it's probably fine if you know what you're doing but as a beginner this has been a real headache trying to get it set up properly and having it stay set up. The truss rod is borderline non functioning. The bridge is made of weak material that bent out of shape when I put new strings on it, the strings were not particularly high tension either. The screws to raise/lower the pickups are soft and strip easily even if you are using the right size screwdriver, the pickup suspension is also flimsy. If you are experienced and don't mind dealing with these issues, the bass plays and sounds fine. However for a beginner I'd recommend paying the extra money for something with better build quality and save yourself from the pain of these basses.
