Form over function

Great look and fit, but they don't dampen the bass strings on inverted headstocks properly, so the fretwrap is still needed. They're probably fine on any other 7-string headstock, though.

I've been making my own for, 20 years? (oh my god) now but I have to say these are great. basically 3 layers. a very soft layer that keeps the tension on all the strings, a middle hard layer and some velcro to dampen. look great too

Well, it beats having a sock on the headstock! Not particularly cheap for a bit of plastic and foam, but it is almost invisible on the guitar which I do like.
