Does the job perfectly
Needed a decent length midi cable for routing under a desk. This is perfect, and the bright colour is ideal for quick identification. Would buy again, probably in other colours for id purposes.

Pros:
Long cable enough for keyboards close to the computer on the desk.
Cons:
The plastic material is decent for the price.
Opinion:

Good quality and cheap price
I have never had much luck with MIDI cables. They seem to be an overly delicate type of cable, and in my experience, most that are over 1.5 metres break very easily. I don't know why, but this has not been the case for this Thomann cable, which has lasted me well over a year now with everyday use!
The cable is cheap, but the build quality is high. The cable feels as sturdy as the day I bought it, and I'm sure it will last a long time. The blue colour is great and you can get it in other colours.
Excellent value for money - the same can be said to the rest of Thomann's sssnake range too; incase you are looking for other cables.

Value for Money
I have used a few of these leads, one of which I have had for almost 5 years now, very reliable and tough. If any of mine ever broke (which I dont see happening soon!) I would certainly buy the sssnake again.
The bright colours are also really useful in more complex setups, I recommend one of each colour to avoid confusion.

Does the job, but feels a bit cheap
To connect a synth that is a bit further away from my setup, I use this blue MIDI cable to easliy identify it between all the other cables. I also have yellow and red ones from the same brand, but the blue one definitely feels cheaper. Also, the cable and the plugs don't have the exact same blue colour. Not too big of a problem, but I'm not sure I'd buy this again.
