Lightweight and compact stand, does its job well but is not for everyone.

This stand is a good choice if you wish to keep one handy but you don't want a product that takes too much space when stored.
This is the reason I purchased it and it surely doesn't disappoint everything considered: it is made of metal, you can adjust height, tripod dimension and even inclination of the sheet music desk, and it can be used even when sitting.
However the low weight of the stand, convenient when carrying it around in an instrument case, is the biggest flaw: the assembled stand is somehow a little flimsy, not very stable but overall not at all unusable.
It is an affordable, nice stand for indoor use but I definitely wouldn't recommend it to be used outdoors (for instance on live performances, on windy days, etc) because of the stability issue and the light weight.
The folding and assembling may seem a little confusing at first, but with a little practice it can be put together or folded away in less than a minute.
Overall for the price paid it doesn't disappoint: it suits well anyone looking for a stand to use indoors, to be compact, lightweight and easy to carry around.

The screws are really bad and the metal is thin!

I ordered three for my guitar pupils:
I know they are cheap, but they are not that incredibly cheap! One of them broke after maximum 1 month, the second is slowly 'giving up' and the last one (it has the same angle all the time) has the whole structure crooked (because of a 200 pages method's weight).
So, I will try to order a more expensive one to have a mean of comparison.

fully functional for holding a sheet of music

its a low price product, which is fuly functional.
example - the sheet music holding area on mine was not perfectly straight the way the top frame appears, when fuly folded out, it was off by a few degrees, but this was just adjusted by me bending the top of the stand slightly, at teh connection area where the metal is thinner, i knew it wouldnt damage the stand, and it corrected the alighnment . just an example of what to possibly expect in terms of defect, that should not put a buyer off.
its certainly heavy and balanced enough,

this will last years with reasonable, and careful use.
