Far from what it should be
Matyas S. 03.10.2018
I had no expectations of this being the sturdiest throne, because I know good ones (I own a Tama and a Gibraltar as well), and I also owned some very basic/flimsy ones too. I suspected some issues knowing the price. But it did not meet my already lowered expectations. The comfort is okay, no real complains there. The back support is a bit weak, I can alter the angle of it just with my arm (with some force, but still). Not sure how it would behave under my full weight pressed to it. Not sure I want to find out either.
And it is wobbly as hell! I constantly have to retighten the screws, and the legs have no option to tighten them on the lower side of the throne-base (where the legs horizontally connect to the shaft in the middle). When I sit on it, it is wobbly, not really stable at all.
I altered the throne quite a bit to have a somewhat usable throne. Drilled a route for a winged screw to tighten the legs at the bottom, which improved the stability. I just cannot - in good conscience - recommend this! Not without some minor upgrades. And what is frustrating that with 2 minor tweaks this can be a decent mid-tier drumthrone. Stronger support for the back and a screw to make the legs stiff(?). For the price and for a beginner, this is okay(ish). But would I recommend to someone who wants to use it on the long run? Absolutely not! If you have the know-how and the willingness to modify it to work as it should, than go for it. I admit, I had worse thrones in the past! But as I grow older, my tolerance for design flaws... well... you know what I mean.

You get what you pay for

The Millenium brand can be a hit or miss sometimes. Some of their products, I absolutely love, but unfortunately this was not one of them. The quality of the material seemed to be really good, but something in the design made it a wobbly a lot of the time. I ended up selling it within a few months and replacing it with a Gibraltar throne.

A cheap, no-frills drum throne that can handle the road
Schengis 28.06.2019
I bought this throne because I like bicycle seats and wanted a backrest without breaking the bank. At 60 Euros I suppose it's a bargain, but it's lacking in some ways.

All of the turning parts and screws became very threaded within about 5 weeks on the road. The wingbolt that fastens the seat to the stand is almost locked in place because of the threading problem. I also have to be careful how I set it up, because if it's facing noon it leans downward, and if it's facing 6 o'clock it angles upward. Not ideal.

The backrest is easily put on or removed depending on your preference. I found it to be quite comfortable for longer gigs, but it's really about the best thing I can say about this stand.

Pros:
- Cheapest way to get a bicycle-style throne with a backrest out there
- Overall robust feeling, spindle is solid
- Backrest optional

Cons:
- Bolts and other 'connecting' hardware wear down very quickly
- Noticeable "lean" or angling of the seat depending where it's facing
- Lowest height may be too high for some players.

Not bad for the price, but it leaves me wanting more.

DO
it held me up
Dr Ohmtron 06.07.2020
yes, it works. it held me up. however i honestly didn't like this stool. the molded seat was hard and a bit uncomfortable and the post that held the saddle itself wiggled in the base causing noise. i'll get something else next time. it's ok. it will work but it's not the best.
