B
Great always on stereo device
If you are searching for a stereo vibrato pedal with two different speed options then it will be a perfect device for you. As this is a signature pedal of Madison Cunningham who is one of the coolest young artists you get what Maddy wanted from JHS. Two identical vibrato pedals in one where you have the possibility to set two different speeds and switch between them. Plus an added boost option if you are setting the volume higher than noon and also an EQ option to darken or brighten the sound of the pedal.
My settings:
I have the pedal on my board for more than a month now and I really love it. It is the first stereo pedal in the chain, after that comes a Boss RE-202. The 2 pedals are working very well together. Personally I like to keep the volume at unity level and the EQ around 1 o'clock. For the vibrato "A" I keep the speed at minimum level and the depth around 3 o'clock and use this as an always on lush stereo enhancer for my rig. For the vibrato "B" the speed around 2 o'clock and the depth around 11 o'clock. I use it for a more prominent vibrato sound.
Conclusion:
There's no option of switching the pedal from vibrato to chorus so if you need that then it is not your cup of tea. The pedal is a bit pricy but overall I really like it for the lush sound quality and of course mainly for the stereo output to use it with 2 amplifiers. For a V2 I could imagine a stereo input as well.
