Good quality bone, no complaints.
I've used Harley Benton branded bone blanks on many occasions in the past in my workshop and it has always been very good quality. This one is no exception. I like this unbleached bone much better than the bleached varieties. It looks classier, feels nicer and is less brittle.
I see no reason to buy bone blanks from specialist luthier stores when Thomann can deliver this quality at a fair price.
Highly recommended!

Nice bone
For making your own nut. Material seems OK, easy to work with and OK consistent in tone.

Awesome Nut
Being new to DIY and wanting to improve my guitar this was a great first project. Easy to carve into shape and sounds solid now!

Not good quality
I bought three of these nuts.I lost a lot of time finishing the first nut, it chipped easily when I was finishing up filing the slots. The second nut had a fracture all the way through the length of the blank and visible holes on the end.I chose not to use the last nut as I have no faith in their quality.I would avoid in future.Really disappointed
