nélküle nagyon zajosak voltak a felvételeim. sokkal jobban tudok dolgozni ezzel a cuccal. tiszta, szinte teljesen zajtalan, nincsenek visszaverődések. jó anyag, stabil. jó döntés volt a vétel, ajánlom.

Good budget option with some trade-offs
3LD 27.03.2026
I ordered this for my wife as she was having issues with reflected sounds from a window in her recordings. The mic screen works well for this job and has reduced this undesired sound well.

Pros:
1. Construction
Well constructed with almost all metal hardware, aside from the foam, and resin knobs.
The acoustic foam is sturdy and works well for its intended function as sound isolation.

2. Functionality
Helps to reduce reflected sound in rooms without acoustic treatment, as well as isolating the microphone from other sound sources and preventing cross talk.

3. Ease of use
Easy assembly and disassembly.

Cons

1. Weight
The mic screen is quite heavy and this makes it impractical to use with many mounting setups.
From a practical standpoint, it is only suited to being mounted vertically on top of a straight microphone stand with a wide heavy base, as it is too heavy to be mounted at the end of a standard boom arm or desk-mounted broadcasting arm.

2. Design.
The central L bracket stand is attached to the back of the mic screen using two metal thumb screws, and these have a tendency to come loose causing the bracket to sag. I have had to modify them (adding wax to the threads) to prevent this from happening.
This bracket offers very limited options for mic positioning, and it is difficult to adjust it without taking the screws out, effectively forcing you to disassemble it to do so. However, I think these issues could be improved quite easily by replacing the thumb screws with wing nuts instead.
Another improvement would also be allowing the mounting bracket to be adjusted by 90 degrees to change the weight distribution of the mic screen (so that it curves above and below the microphone rather than around the sides.)

3 Quality control
Whilst I appreciate it is a budget item, the quality control could be improved. The unit I received was covered in small damages from the manufacturer, including chipped and scratched paintwork, scuffed knobs, small areas of corrosion.

Conclusion
Overall, it works for it's intended purpose and will last a long time but there are some trade-off's with practicality and flexibility which will make it unsuitable for some setups.

Usefull novelty
Jimis Noir 12.04.2022
Sturdy and well constructed. A bit heavy though, needs a sturdy stand, and probably without the use of a boom arm, at least not in a very open angle.
One of the clips that keeps it open was not in the right place to lock with the screw in mine (about 2mm off), easy to fix with a steel cutter, but had I not the powertool and the knowledge to use it would render that lock unscrewable, hence the whole contraption a little less well-locked, but by no means problematic. Same goes for some pre-drilled holes on the part that attaches to the mic stand, bit out of place.
Had not time to test it yet, but the foam is thick and dense, don't know which frequencies are absorbed and which are reflected (maybe some super highs are reflected, that's how dense it seems to me). Consider buying some foam panels of various density, shape and thickness to experiment with.
Obviously, a bit hard to have a score or a lyrics sheet right in front of you, I must train my customers (and myself) to strategically place the music stand above, below or around the thing.
I would love if there was a top and bottom part to absorb reflections from floor and ceiling, I think it can be achieved with minor design mods on the existing model.
All in all, it's built to last, the option of easily replacing the foam makes it usefull for a variety of situations, and it probably saves you from tampering with your room acoustics and the use of de-reverbing software.
Recomended.
