A superb alternative to using tape. You can attach this to the violin fingerboard with strings attached but it is preferable to remove the strings before applying this sticker. Make sure that the length from the the top of your fingerboard (top nut) to the bridge i.e. string length is 325mm. This way, you will get the correct intonation for your violin.
