Excellent Guitar for beginner/intermediate player

I have ordered and tested other Squiere stratocaster cheaper models and this one was a good surprise. Great tone, and really good neck. The Neck made all the difference to me in comparison to the cheaper Squieres models (that feels like a toy, not an instrument). It just feels good, make it easier to play the notes, make bends... and it's beautiful.

I expected more

The neck is ultra slim which is totally not my thing.
The frets above 12th fret are uneven.
Low E rattles and is impossible to raise the action more than 2mm as the saddle screw is too short.
Pickups tone is nothing special.
Guitar has no blemishes finishwise.
Generally not really impressed with it.

Great guitar for beginners

It is my first guitar, but in the past i had opportunity to see many guitars so I have some examples to compare with
Firstly, quality of the guitar is very good. It is better than you can expect for guitar under 500 euros
Secondly, it is stratocaster with all its pros and cons
To conclude, I think that it is perfect guitar for beginers as i am

Particular instrumento, con los trastes fatal.

Estupendo aspecto, con un color rojo ligeramente anaranjado y barniz tintado en el mástil.
El mástil es muy finito, y el ancho de la cejilla es algo de 1mm por debajo del estandar actual de Fender. La distancia entre la 1 y 6 cuerda es de casi 2mm menos que en mi Tele USA 2018. Fenómeno para pisar o mutear por arriba con el pulgar, mal para dedos gordos y guitarristas que pisan las cuerdas con los dedos inclinados porque es mas fácil apagar cuerdas sin querer.
Los trastes altos son una delicia, y me dan una lectura al tacto del mastil superior que los estandar medium jumbos tan frecuentes, ademas de bendings sin atascos por rozamiento con el diapasón.
Sonido sin pega ninguna, a la par que mi Fender USA.
Las clavijas de afinación hacen perfectamente el trabajo pero no tienen la suavidad de unas de las buenas.
El golpeador es de un blanco nuclear, un despropósito en una guitarra con vocación vintage, pero sustituirlo por otro crema o mint no te costará mas de 10€ y 10 minutos. Lo mismo con los plasticos de los potes, que sumergí en café una noche y quedaron preciosos.
Mas ligera que las americanas sin duda.
Los trastes vineron FATAL, y si no la devolví fué porque ya no podía. Muchos trastes sobresalían por los extremos y tenian picos, tanto es así que se quedaba la primera cuerda enganchada debajo del traste por fuera del diapasón a todas horas colocando la guitarra en su soporte. Tambien muchos trastes desnivelados que cerdeaban a pesar de subir la acción y regular el alma. Después de limado, nivelado y coronado de trastes, ningún problema. Dudo que todas las squier vengan tan mal de trabajo de trastes. (si no no venderían ninguna), debí tener mala suerte.
En definitiva, es una guitarra estupenda con una estetica y relación calidad precio insuperable. Tambien para hacer modificaciónes sin pena y poderla descuidar un poco (y así disfrutarla). Ajusta las expectativas porque el instrumento no es equiparable a uno USA, pero si una estupenda opción con mucho mejor ratio calidad/precio.
