Super drive !!!
So let me get this straight...
Telecaster is considered one of the most flexible guitars ever produced to cover most musical styles. When it comes to the Fender pickups there are many different tastes from the famous broadcasters, twisted tele, pure vintage series, Texas specials etc.
But there was always a small gap for those wanted a tele with higher output pickups and there the deluxe drive pickups enter in the game.
I never expected that fender will ever make a high output pickup with vintage vibe and sound. These pickups will push the drive Channel of your amplifier until the wax will melt from your speaker cones. Yet in the clean channel they will sound wonderfully sweet especially in the middle position giving you the famous tele tone.
I have tried many tele pickups in the past both from fender as well as from other manufactures. These are in a different ballpark they have almost everything, bite, excellent response when you turn down the volume, and a genuine tele sound.
I could not believe that fender will make such good pickups outside the custom shop range. No negatives here, well done fender!!

Replacement tele pickups
Good sound nice detail. Gives nice overdrive sound with bite but still sounds like a tele. very pleased.
