At fractionally over 6mm this is a very flexible cable but is also well constructed and feels surprisingly robust. It strips and solders very easily and being so flexible makes it especially ideal for making up things like link cables for pedalboards.

I have used this in conjunction with the Thomann SK140 Angled plugs and used 50mm of heat shrink tube as strain relief (shrinking it over the connections inside the plug). They look simply fantastic but more importantly are incredibly strong! I can detect no additional noise whatsoever from outside sources so the cable is nicely shielded, and I also cannot hear any degradation in signal quality. If using this as an instrument cable, I would increase the length of the heat shrink tube to 70mm, but this would reduce the flexibility in the confined spaces of a pedalboard.

In conclusion...
A very flexible and robust finer section cable constructed of quality materials which is easy to work with and as an added bonus, comes in several colours for coding. What more could you need? Highly recommended :)
