Still totally worth it.

I'm rapidly becoming a big fan of XVive. This micro amp does not have a wow-factor, but for this price...it meets expectations.
It is a cheap and easy way to practice guitar while everybody's sleeping (accidently my favorite hour). Plug it in, plug in a comfortable headset (don't bother with quality) and rock all night long.
If you want quality sound and an effect loop, use your amp or shell out the big bucks for a good preamp. Even then, these won't fit in your pocket and the GA-3 goes in your skinny jeans with room to spare.

Not bad

Does not sound great to me, but I do not have any other of these micro amps to compare to. All I can say is that it is difficult to find a decent sound. Also, with the guitar jack pointing downwards it is difficult to control. Still can do the practice on it! To be honest I did not know what to expect of such micro amps.

Well worth it for practice!

I wanted something simple to practice on the couch, without driving my girlfriend crazy, and this is perfect for that!
During the week, I spend a lot of time learning and practicing songs for my cover band. I hook up my phone with an aux cable (not included), plug it into my guitar, stick on my headphones, and go!
It has to e, volume and gain controls, which can go from sparkling clean to roaring distortion. It's incredibly responsive to the volume knob on my strat! Of course the tones wouldn't be good enough to record on an album, but for late night practicing, it's all you need!

The build quality doesn't feel great, it feels like I could break it by squeezing it hard enough. The solution for that is simple - Don't squeeze it hard enough. I am slightly careful when plugging it in, as it does feel like it may snap.
Overall, it's exactly what I wanted - something small, light and cheap that will amplify my guitar, and my practice music. I would purchase again!
