Good but not great
TomislavK 28.08.2020
Why it is good? Well it will hold your microphone, but you should go and use it for ticker microphone on recommended values. I think it would work fine with 28mm to 40mm diameter microphones.

Why not great? Well my is Oktava is 23mm wide and it is also in recommended value as it is over 20mm, but it is not secure at all, together with cable it may work if you have your microphone at the same level as Flor, but if you want to tilt it you are risking that microphone pops out of this shock mount as it hold it very flimsy and i don like it.
I will probably have to do some modification to make it usable and more secure with 20mm to 28mm condenser.

How is it this cheap ?!
CyberDNIWE 06.06.2021
Comming from similarly priced chinese shock mount, this thing does amazing! Not only does it help with bump pickups when touching the stand, but it also seemed to isolate the bumps comming from the desk that my arm is mounted on.
The screw is wide enough and clamps easily, and the mechanism seems not to require lots of tension to keep in one place.

Build quality:
The outer ring is made out of metal that does not resonate with bumps and the outer rubber bands are thick and are covered in isolation (think: heavy duty hair bands).
The inner ring is hard(ish) plastic and the bands that actually hold the microphone are naked thinner soft "wet-ish" rubber.
The connector is made from thick plastic and the screw hole is made via copper insert.

Everything seems to be made to last, but the only concearn I have are the soft naked inner rubber bands, which might "dry out" after a while... but I guess that's why you get two spares in the box and I'm sure you can buy equivalent bands in any of your local hardware stores.

Conclusion:
If you need a shock mount: GET. THIS. NOW.

It has a good fit on my AKG D5 S mic and all the noises coming from my desk were cancelled. Initially I was using a regular table mount with some rubber feet, but every time I was touching the desk I could see the VU-meters raising. These nasty noises have stopped since I got this shock-mount. For its price is very good indeed, definitely recommended.

The outer shock-mount is metallic (aluminum perhaps), so it is solid and should last.

Very solid!

Leaving a review after 6 months of use.
The strings of the shockmount of my microphone broke down, and while looking for replacement parts, I ran into this. The price was only a little higher than the strings, so I bought it.
It's been holding my condenser mic on a stand for six months now, not a problem. The only thing that's a bit of a hustle is that placing the microphone between the strings is not that easy. Not impossible, it just requires some patience – so definitely not the best thing in case you're planning to switch different microphones. However, if you need to keep a microphone in there all the time, go for it!

Great value
Mike the Drums 06.03.2014
Even though spec says max 40mm, this fits 52mm diameter mic (AT2020). The mic itself is held between the elastic cords, so it adapts very well to any mic size. Works very well, and costs next to nothing! Worth every penny.

Q

Do you mind replacing the rubbers?
Pietro G. 14.05.2018
If the answer is: no, then you will be ok. The frame is robust, metal. The rubbers are weak and will break in a short time. If you replace them with a good one you'll have a nice mount.

Works as promised!

Using this shock mount with t.bone MB 60, they work great and the noise from the table doesn't transfer to the mic. Recommended.

cheap but usable

plastic is sturdy, swinging connection is very simple - maybe even too primitive. Expect to look for replacement string soon, if not right away.
Worth the price, but not great product.
