The box PA 12 DSP
I use this speaker for vocals when i'm practicing with my band, so i can tell you that if you get it for a band practice, this boy can get really really loud ( way more than you would need). That being said, i strongly believe that, in order to preserve the quality of the speaker, you shouldn't use it on 10 everytime. So, with that in mind, getting a more powerful PA was a great decision. Really well made, both in terms of sound and build quality. Overall it's a great product!

Great and big sound.
The only issue I found is that they are bit noisy when loud but only when you stop the music then you hear ssssSSSSSSS

I
PA12DSP vs DSP112 = 1-0
I was already a fan of the Box Pro DSP115 and when the time came to purchase 12s my first choice was the Box Pro DSP112. What a disappointment they were...they just could't produce the required SPL's for my case. I was ready to purchase a pair of Yamaha DBR12 when I decided to give these a chance. All I can say is WOW.....I don't know how it is possible but these babies can go much louder than the DSP112. And featurewise they are identical. I am glad I gave these babies a chance. The only thing that I would have liked is a cloth or grille for the horn so that I would not have to constantly obsess about a tiny particle falling in there. So if you are on a budget look no further. Great sound for a great price.

Good sound for the price
First, the handles are great. Easy to lift/carry. DSP is cool as well. The sound can be very similar to higher priced ones. Not that amazing, but surprisingly good for its price.
