Das Stork Vacchiano Trumpet 1 Mundstück hat einen ziemlich großen Kesseldurchmesser und eine steile, deutliche Innenkante. Mir kommt das sehr entgegen; ich habe breite Lippen und bekomme bei weichen Innenkanten schnell einen bröseligen Ton.
Die Tiefe und Mittellage klingt groß, klar und strahlend. In der Höhe hatte ich anfangs das Gefühl, das Mundstück hätte einen höheren Widerstand und würde "bremsen", aber ich merkte dann, dass dadurch auch beim Forcieren der Ton klar und sauber bleibt, ohne zu "schreien".
Ich bin sehr zufrieden und werde das Mundstück vor allem für klassische Musik, Filmmusik und Studioaufnahmen verwenden. Für Leadtrompete in einer lauten Big-Band würde ich etwas anderes empfehlen. (Herr Vacchiano war übrigens Solotrompeter der New Yorker Philharmoniker.)
