Les cordes Pyramid sont de bonne qualité générale mais les tirants fournis sont un peu faible générant un son un son manquant de puissance et une forte tendance à un désaccordage fréquent. On préférerait du bronze pour les cordes filées. De toutes façons, on a guère le choix pour les jeux de cordes avec cordes à l'octave. Thomann en est un des uniques fournisseurs.
