Comfy, stable throne
Sturl 02.11.2021
This Millennium drum throne is a comfortable and stable choice for behind the kit.

The padding is deep and comfortable for long hours of practice. The material is also wipe clean if it should get dirty.

The four legs give this additional stability and the hydraulic lever make this exceptionally easy to adjust the height.

The saddle design seat, as opposed to a round seat, is great on the legs and feels more ergonomic for longer periods.

This is reasonably priced and worth considering.

P
A Drum Throne Fit For A King
Pawew 17.01.2026
I’ve been drumming since 2021, and I have never been truly comfortable while playing. The main reason for this was my drum stool. My previous stools were too small, uncomfortable, and difficult to adjust. Both reached only about 45 to 55 cm, and since I’m 175 cm tall and play double bass, my legs were often too low to the ground. This limited my range of motion and affected my playing. I was looking for something taller, easy to adjust, and reliable—and this drum stool has exceeded my expectations and truly deserves the title “drum throne.”

The number one reason I call this a throne instead of a stool is how easy it is to assemble. Straight out of the box, it practically builds itself: spread the legs, attach the seat, sit down, and adjust. That’s it. The second reason is the hydraulic system. The lowest height is 45 cm and the highest is 65 cm, which I measured myself; the description is truthful. This range is perfect for me, and now my legs are slightly elevated—ideal for fast double pedal playing.
The third reason is the ergonomically shaped seat. It’s large (44 cm wide and 38 cm long), giving me plenty of room to sit comfortably. This is especially useful during long practice sessions in the studio. The fourth reason (funnily enough) is that it has four legs. Unlike my old three-legged stools, leaning to one side or moving to the groove would cause shaking, and sometimes a leg would even lift off the ground. I nearly fell several times during band practice. After a couple of weeks of using this throne, it hasn’t shaken once. It’s incredibly solid and doesn’t move unless YOU pick it up.

I am not exaggerating when I say this is not just a chair; it is a throne fit for a king. It’s comfortable, easy to adjust, and extremely stable. For the price, this product is outstanding. I am beyond satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone still using the standard round drum stools that often come with drum kits. I can say with full certainty that my playing has improved since I started using this throne.

Not a bad drum throne. However, it occasionally starts going down when you are sitting on it. No clue if it is from movement on the throne and it giving thinking you are pushing the lever or if the weight balancing needs to be on the middle and if it leans away from it then the throne gives. Comfort is nice though.

Good hydaulic throne

I bought this after using normal round throne from Tama. I'm glad I don't have to deal with turning the chair every time I want to position myself higher or lower. It's also different feeling from round thrones (sice is a saddle) but for now it works for me. This means you can't just sit down wherever and you have to position yourself. Also after a while chair doesn't stay at the same level and dips bit by bit and wobbles a bit. But as long as it holds in place for one session it's OK.
Overall it's a really nice chair and I'm satisfied with the purchase.
