Disappointing Quality
I used this product to complement my students' hand drum unit.
The sound was a pleasing contrast to other shakers (more 'bean-like' then 'rice-like') and the materials natural, but the very thin weaving where the handle meets the body caused it to break after it's third use.

Although not quite as punchy as the Meinl CAX3, the CAX2 produces a well-rounded sound with mid-high frequencies. It produces enough volume to be heard in a larger ensemble setting. Sonically, it works well with the the Meinl CAX1 and CAX3. Again, a shame mine didn't come have the Meinl logo stamp.
