Good Starter Kit
First set of Harmonicas I ever bought some years ago, and I was quite happy with them. They had a good sound for something so cheap, and lasted me a good while considering their quality and price.
They did their job well, as I learnt the different playing techniques on them with little trouble.
They even lasted me long enough to play live, before I decided to get some new higher quality ones.
One or two did eventually go out of tune and another did get damaged along the way - but this is only natural with a starter kit and may have been my own negligence in caring for them. Who knows? With the right care they might have lasted even longer.
Would certainly recommend these to anyone looking to start out harmonica.

Very helpful set
I've been playing blues harp for a few years now, but i always had D and C tones. To know and play with different tones without spending too much money is what this set is put together for. The case is even better than I thought it' be. The sound of the harps is actually not cheap at all. I gave it a shot and I'm satisfied.

Not too shabby
For the price an excellent investment for anyone looking to get started with harmonicas and doesn't want to drop a load of cash. The sound and quality meet all expectations I had.
The fancier country blues ones (the Hohners with a wooden center) do sound better, but a single once costs about half the price of this set. FYI to anyone who only needs one!

A bit Hard to blow but generally a pretty good sound. Have gigged 2 or 3 time. Not really a seasoned harp player but for the price these seem OK. it is a shame they take quite a bit of puff to get reasonable sound.

Blues Harmonica Set
I can play a bit of Harmonica, I have a couple of pro blues harps, but in reality you need at least the basic set to play in a band. So having reviewed what is available at Thomann, I decided to buy the Blues Harmonica set, but this particular one is made by Hohner, a reliable manufacturer for harps.
Having said that the first one sent to me was a disaster, all 7 of the harps were faulty, the testing is quite easy. You can use the piano to get the key for testing.so I returned them and what is really good about Thomann, is that you have no problems with Thomann with respect to faulty goods.
Anyway Thomann sent me a replacement set and this time they all appeared in tune.
testing the harps is quite simple you blow and draw for each hole. The sound has to be clean, if you have to blow or draw in really hard and a weak or sharp sound heard then that particular note is bad. You do receive a leaflet giving you the notes for each harp, so that may be of help.
I am very pleased with the set, mind you there was a huge discount by Thomann, making it a fantastic value. So you may hear some new material from wannabe Bob Dylan.

So much fun
This is a great place to start if learning harmonic is your thing.
The sound from the harmonicas is great, I have used them both recording and live. Great to be able to own a full set at this price range.
All still virtually like news. After years of use.
recommended product.

I am not a serious harp player, but I like to play especially when jamming blues and such like. despite of my lack of expertise these harps really stand the test of time and are easy to transport and keep together in the case. Compared with a more expensive brand you can hear the lesser quality of sound, but for the price I cant complain. At this price I don't feel bad about cleaning the sand and beer off them the next day.
They seem to keep on working!
