Great Value Bass strings
Graham3281 01.07.2020
Can't really go wrong at the price. I was a little skeptical when buying these strings as they cost around 25% of the usual proprietary brands I use. I have tried them on Fender Jazz and Precision basses, and Ibanez basses and have been pleasantly surprised and very pleased with the results. I have yet to see how long they retain their tone compared to the leading brands, but they seem to be holding up well. Being nickel coated they are a little warmer sounding than steels, which sound brighter and I prefer. In summary they are outstanding value, and most players could afford to keep a couple of spare sets in the gigbag. Recommend any player to give these a try. Well done Harley Benton for another very decent budget product.

Для Harley Benton RB-414 LH CS не подходят - слишком короткие.
В остальном как обычные недорогие дешёвые струны.

o
The price, man!
onetw 08.05.2018
Now, I'm not a snob with regard to the bass guitars and I'm not a person willing to spend too much money for stuff either.
I got these from Thomann for free when I bought a cheap but solid HB jbass and one of the strings was defective, yes an entire set for one string (props to Thomann for that, their service is incredible). These strings were considerably better than the stock cheapo strings. For the price I find them very usable and reasonably long-lasting, although they'll obviously lose their brightness after some time (like any other strings...), I'm using this set for two months now and it is still playable.
There may be better strings out there but the price/performance ratio of these is unbeatable. Personally, I see no reason to buy some expensive Daddarios that last about as long as these, when you can get 4 sets of the HB strings for the same price.
I'm certainly going to be buying these exclusively from now on.

You can't beat these

For the price they are sold, it's an absolute bargain. A breath of fresh air for any needing bass with years old strings. Do yourself (and your bass) a favor and grab a bunch of 'em, they are nice to have around.

Value for money with a good tone
Calzebub 24.04.2017
Bass strings are too expensive. This is a fact.

So when i saw these listed for under £5 a set I was going to give them a fair crack and i am delighted to say that they have not disappointed!

I installed these on my P-Bass and the sound of them is good and bright. There is plenty of string length to install them easily and seem to be holding their tone ok.

I will not be going back to spend £20+ on strings now that I know these do the business. You should do the same.

Finally
JB Guitar 24.02.2020
As a beginner on the bass after many years on guitar, i wanted to have a back up set of strings. However going to the big box stores the prices were out of hand! Some sets were as much as $35! These are a fraction of the price, feel good and sound good right out of the package. For less than half the price of the big box store for 1 set, I ordered 3 sets. Can’t see me needing more for a long, long time!

Not good for a headless bass
Urch 13.06.2022
I have a Status Washburn S1000 Bass (yes I know very 1980's!) which is headless - I've recently tried these budget strings with it (the bass has allen key 'clamps' to hold the strings at the head and tuners at the bottom of the bridge - in common with most headless basses). At first they fit well and sounded decent - hence 4 stars for s0und - and seemed like a good purchase, however about a week after fitting them the low E and A strings have unwound under tension at the headstock end and are now completely useless. I have never experienced this with other string makes, and I've had this particular bass for nearly 35 years... So if you're thinking of using these on a headless bass you may want to look elsewhere!

Great strings even if you don't see the price
shandou 26.08.2017
I have tried a LOT of string brands over time. Let me put it this way: if all musicians were rational, string brands like Elixir, D'Addario, Ernie Ball would go out of business.

Pros:
- very cheap
- sounds good
- lasts long as any other string

Cons:
- limited range of string gauges

Inexpensive... but actually decent quality,.. Have been using them for 2 months now... Though I don't expect too much longevity...
I bought them to to replace very old ones on an old, seldom Played acrylic bodied Wesley bass...
Ding dong... delighted with the tone... have started playing the Wesley now more than my Jackson..
So... cheap... decent... can't complain...
And worth picking up a set or two to have for back up... you can't afford not to at this price.
