850 klassische Themen - das Ergebnis ist ein großes dickes Buch mit Ringbuchbindung. Dennoch passt das Ding kaum auf einen handelsüblichen Notenständer. Weiterhin zu beachten: die Werke sind in Original-Notation: teilweise mit vielen Vorzeichen und somit für manche Instrumentengruppen nicht einfach spielbar. Auch der Tonumfang macht so manches Stück für einzelne Instrumente unmöglich. Aber bei 850 Stücken wird sicher jeder irgendwo fündig.
Geordnet sind die Werke alphabetisch nach deren Komponisten. Der Notendruck ist relativ klein, da bleibt nicht immer viel Platz für Notizen.
Dennoch: gutes Nachschlagewerk, welches für weitere Inspirationen dienen kann.
