Gibraltar SC-LBDB Bass Drum Beater

I put this on my pedal after testing other beaters extensively.
Immediately I noticed this wasn't feeling as balanced, even compared to the cheapest Millenium classic felt beater.

The balance is just...different. But it plays light, so you can go fast with this, and the volume it produces is still more than adequate.

And the price is very right, being a Gibraltar and all.

After 5 years of occasional use, they're still in perfect shape, no degradation whatsoever other than normal usage marks.

Great beater, balanced... It delivers a good strike on the kick drum, with a rich and powerful attack (with the head tuned properly, of course).
They would be perfect with memory lock on the shaft just for setting them perfectly gig after gig, but overall it's a great product.
