FOMOfx Virtual Jeff Pro

This piece of gear is without doubt given me the most fun and innovative ideas I’ve had for many years. It is one of those gadgets that actually does do what they say and, more. I’ve tried it on my six string electric and, now, want to fit it to my Yamaha solid electric twelve string(imagine a twelve string with whammy?). I also have a short scale bass that is sitting in the corner, begging to try it. I’ll keep you posted.

Amazing sound- no artefacts and flawless drop tunings at the touch of a button. It is just a tad cumbersome to mount and set up, but well worth it. I recorded in a studio with this recently- when the producer saw it he rolled his eyes and said that he had heard all types of drop stop tuning pedals, whammy pedals etc and they all had weird sound artefacts at times- so he expected it not to sound good…..but when he heard it on the guitar and bass he made a note of the name and said he would be ordering one asap! 🙂
