Basslite S2012 in sealed cabinet
I mounted the speaker in a sealed cabinet (the small sealed bass option design on the data sheet from eminence) built with 12mm ply and two sheets of visaton damping stuff. Driven by a TC electronic 250 Head.
Speaker is remarkably light and a superb performer and plenty of volume. high clarity with flat amp settings and a jazz bass with round wounds. the bottom end can be easily boosted with the amp if required.
Easy to carry in one hand with bass on my back and a small gig bag in the other
Will build another identical cab now and drive the two from the 250 Head which should handle the two S2012s in these rigs.

Great sound!
I have used a pair of these speakers to build a 2x 12" bass cabinet and I am truly satisfied: the deep bass is there, almost like a 15", and it's very bright and articulate. Great for bass players that really like very clean sound, with bass but without the mud.

Lose weight, gain sound!
I used this to replace the stock 12" in a Laney wedge bass amp that I like, but which was always a bit too heavy and a bit too quiet for gigging. This speaker has solved both problems, in that the amp now delivers a powerful sound, significantly louder than before, while at the same time becoming more portable.
