Excellent mouthpiece

Great mouthpiece, it feels very comfortable, and is very easy to play on the whole range from top to bottom. Especially the legato playing is much easier than with any other mouthpiece I tried the last 2 years. And I like the sound very much.

In der Höhe klar und angenehm, in der Tiefe naja

Ich habe dieses Mundstück nach kurzem Ausprobieren spontan für einen 4-stündigen BigBand-Gig verwendet, ohne es zu bereuen. Es sitzt sehr angenehm an den Lippen und spricht vor allem im mittleren und hohen Register leicht an, mit einem klaren Sound (ich spiele eine Tenorposaune mit enger Bohrung aus den 40ern).
Nur bei den tieferen Tönen flacht die Tonqualität ab, da muss man schon sehr mit dem Ansatz arbeiten, da der Ton sehr schnell bratzig wird, deshalb der Punkt Abzug.
Tja, schwierige Entscheidung bei dem hohen Preis. Für hundert Euro weniger wärs ne klare Kaufempfehlung. Aber für kaum eingespielt und trotzdem Spaß gehabt über 4 Stunden hinweg wars das irgendwie schon wert.
