Ableton Live 12 Suite

I went for it and bought Ableton Suite in November 2024, and it was my first proper DAW. I'd horsed around in the free MPC DAW, and LMMS, which I have a lot of respect for, this was a big investment for me.

I continue to love this program, although honestly all other mainstream DAWs seem very capable too. For what it's worth, I picked this one. It's really logical, expansive, and user friendly. There's a ton of free info and courses out there to teach you how to use it. When I sit down in front of Ableton, it hits the sweet spot of feeling like I'm in a fully kitted music studio, while also offering a variety of clear workflows to shape your track.

I make techno on it, I play guitar and sing into it, synthwave, lofi, alt rock, indie. Sometimes I just play with the synths and make cool sounds on my midi keys. I am also beginning to go down the slide of buying a million 3rd party plugins, lol.

Ah, man, I'm sure you'd be good with any of the big names, but I love Ableton. :)

Sie ist sowohl für Einsteiger als auch für Erfahrene geeignet.
