As a recorder neophyte I can surely say that the specific recorder has a very mellow and sweet tone.
My roommates don't complain about disturbing noises as they did with my previous baroque recorder of the same money value.
Almost impossible to make a rough sound with this instrument. It is not a loud recorder, but it's perfect for a small room or a quiet place.
Despite the german fingering, I could't notice(as a novice) any sound discordance.
Very good quality of plastic.
Con:The nice wood immitation does not cover the whole body of the instrument, some parts are bare white instead.
