I always read
That this is 'a good guitar for beginners'. And this strikes me as odd. Why? This guitar is good for everyone who likes playing on a good sounding instrument. This Yamaha delivers. It's size is smaller than say a dreadnought and the sound it generates is great. The thin solid top resonates warm sound. I play 40+ years and own several guitars. Acoustic and electric. Mij Lowden sounds great, but this one does too. For a low price you get a well made guitar that sounds beautiful, is quite loud and not big. This FS SDB800 is very comfortable to hold, looks gorgeous and is definitely more worth than the price i paid. Every guitar can be a beginners guitar, not just this one. Experienced players can enjoy it too. For sure.

Lovely acoustic
Needed a little bit smaller acoustic to practice at home. However, this guitar became an instant favorite. Was playable straight out of the box. The little bit shorter (and thinner) neck makes it easy to play. It isn't as loud as a dreadnought, but still has enough volume and projection for solo players.
