A very nice sound on the APX

Fits the APX guitars very well, the sound is deeper than with other sets that I've tried, e.g. a similar Elixir Nanoweb. And they look great as well.

Even though they don't seem to last quite as long as the e.g. the Elixirs (as expected), I prefer these.

Highly recommended, very good value.

This is my second bulk purchase of these Yamaha strings. I work work with three
Yamaha APX guitars (the best live guitars in the world!) and was stringing them
with Martin strings for years. I didn't realise that Yamaha made a set designed for
the APX. And these are Phosphor Bronze which I wasn't really used to playing with.
However, the sund is beautifully rich and warm. The strings liven the bass sound even more when unplugged and these strings are lovely to play live.
Very good value and even better if you buy in bulk.
Highly recommended.

I spotted the 1st review and was interested in trying them out myself. I must agree on my APX They sound amazing. Will definatly buy more. Only got 2 sets last time ... just to give them a whirl ...
