I expected better manufacturing for that price

I expected better manufacturing. The visible parts are pretty and made of wood. The part of the base is made of hard plastic. The three legs on which it rests are also plastic without any pad to mitigate vibrations. I have the metronome on the piano and it is often a source of vibrations. Inside, the gears are made of white plastic. I suppose it will be the best but it is one more example that the things of now are not like those of before nor even paying a high price.

Früher waren die Geräte besser

Nachdem mein altes Wittner Metronom nach 25 Jahren intensiven Einsatzes defekt war, habe ich mich wieder für dasselbe Modell entschieden, dieses Mal aber mit Glocke. Zwar benutze ich auch ein elektrisches Metronom und eine Smartphone App. Für mein akustisches Klavier sollte es dann - trotz des Preises - wieder ein klassisches Metronom sein.
Der erste Eindruck beim Auspacken war, dass ich das Gefühl hatte, hier wird an Qualität gespart. Auch im täglichen Einsatz habe ich immer wieder das Gefühl, das Metronom arbeitet nicht mehr so präzise gleichmäßig wie sein Vorgänger.
Die Lautstärke des Klicks ist auch geringer, was mir der Hersteller auf Nachfrage mit der Glocke erklärt hat, da diese einen Teil der Energie beansprucht.

j'ai acheté ce métronome d'abord, je dois l'avouer, pour sa beauté et son noir brillant qui suit parfaitement avec mon piano acoustique noir brillant. utilisation simple et efficace. une fois remonté avec sa petite manivelle, le tempo dure longtemps et ne faiblit pas contrairement à la plupart des métronomes mécaniques. très satisfait. seul reproche.... un peu cher. mais quand on a la qualité et le rendu... achat conseillé.
