Heavy duty and sturdy as heck
We bought these to support some F33100 Global Truss for our function bands.
We hang some heavy moving heads on the truss and we have it out the front of the bands, on the floor right, next to the dance floor. So we needed it to take plenty of weight, and be completely sturdy and able to withstand the occasional drunken dancer. It definitely fits the bill in that area.
The legs are really long ? good for stability, though that does take up a lot of floor space of course. The storage system for the legs is every so slightly fiddly. The legs mount parallel to the shaft and you have to wind in the height adjusters at the end of the legs to make them stay in the sockets when stowed. We'd have preferred a snap-in set up, similar to when the legs are in the horizontal position. One could store the legs separately to cut down the weight of course and this may be something we end up doing.
The wheels work well over smooth ground though we'd have preferred a few more handles on the shaft, particular on the opposite side to the wheels, so the stand can be laid down more easily in a vehicle.
It's too tall for our trailer so we transport them laying flat on the floor. We had to make up some wooden brackets to make sure they don't fall over when transporting so again, it would have been great if they could have been made to be more stable when laying flat. But that's a small point and it would have added to the weight which is already pretty considerable.
