I bought this ring and the taller one so that I could mount a pair of English-mount Filter’tron pickups in my Les Paul - the inner corners of the ring are a little tight against the corners of the pickup itself, but that won’t matter too much - on a Les Paul l, you won’t be able to get the pickup high enough… does the job perfectly well though
