Thon Amp Case Mesa Boogie Mark V H

I bought this case because I frequently take my Mark V head from the rehearsal studio so I could maintain working on the songs at home or when going to the gigs. In my opinion it is wise to spend some extra money to protect your equipment, especially if you consider it a long term companion (as I do). And I believe this case is a great protection for my gorgeous amp. The measures are customized to specific needs of Mesa/Boogie Mark V head and therefore it is reasonably fixed and stable while on the fly. Also, there is a great balance between the weight of the case and its solidity. The interior is adequately cushioned so I believe that any reasonable shock could be absorbed without any damage made to an amp. On my list, the most important thing for the amp case is that the locking mechanism is trustworthy and this one really is of that kind. Moreover, it is easy to tell if the top cover is adequately jointed with the base of the case so the possibility of unwanted surprise when you lift the case up is minimal. :) The handles are well costructed, but I would like to see a bit more firmness there in the future. But perhaps my perception of the handles is just inversely correlated to the price of the Mark V... :) Also, I would appreciate the additional compartment for the footcontroller in the interior of the case and the locking mechanism with key, but this is not something to complain about. I recommend this case without even a hint of hesitation.
