I have been playing classical guitar for a quite long time, also with top quality guitars. Having no previous experience with lute I purchased this lute about a year ago. The first Craftsmanship and quality of the finishing are fully acceptable and well in concordance with the price point. The instrument stays pretty well in tune, although tuning is much more laborious with the pegs compared to the machine head in guitars. The intonation seems exact.
Replacing the original string set with Pyramid strings improved both sound and playability.
It is well worth the price and a decent instrument to start studying the lute.

Excellent value for money

Cleanly-made and sturdy instrument of quality woods. Good playability and pretty decent sound which equals the sound samples on the site. Approaches the sound of much more expensive hand-made instruments, not equalling it though. Recommended for beginners and intermediate amateurs. Tuning pegs can easily be tightened with no slippage, which makes the instrument easy to tune and remain in tune quite well. Just one little thing: I had to glue the strap peg back into its hole as it came loose. Little hassle though.

El laúd coincide con la descripción y fotos y ha sido entregado en un plazo muy breve.
Es bastante cómodo de digitar y suena bastante bien.
En mi opinión las cuerdas no poseen el mejor calibre para la afinación en Re del instrumento, por lo que es un poco blando de más e impone pulsar más pegado al puente, pero eso es sólo cuestión de acomodarse al instrumento, ponerle otras cuerdas o modificar la afinación. En base Sol en cambio la tensión es óptima.
Recomendable para todo aquel que quiera iniciarse en la música antigua y no pueda desembolsar la pasta que cuesta uno profesional.

Bon état général, mais défaut majeur

Je l'ai reçu rapidement et en bon état. Le problème, c'est les chevilles : elles ne tiennent pas en place quand on les tourne, donc impossible d'accorder le luth, et encore moins d'en jouer. Je suis déjà allé une fois chez un luthier, et le défaut est revenu très vite. À moins que je n'arrive à trouver une solution, je déconseille.

C'est dommage, car la facture n'est pas mauvaise, et le prix imbattable.
