Thomann Gigbag Elite review

I ordered the bag as a part of a bundle when buying my Cort Earth 70 -12EOP 12-string guitar.

I wanted a good solid bag to transport and keep my guitar in. The material is very sturdy and any dirt comes off very easily.

The bag also comes with a couple of large pockets which can hold all of the things you might want to take with you. Also the bag is very spacey and putting a large dreadnought guitar in it isn't a problem.

The negative things I have to say are just a few:
The support for the guitar neck near the tuners has way too long straps, and the "pockets" for the straps that allow you to carry the bag on your back are a little bit oddly designed. Other than that I don't really have any more things to point out.

To sum it up:
The bag is very solid.
It has good storage space.
The bag is tight enough to prevent any extra movement created by the loose straps.

Definitely a good buy if you want a solid bag that can carry your guitar and accessories around.

Sturdier than expected

I bought this bag in case I ever needed to carry my orchestra-sized steel acoustic around. I certainly can. As well as the orchestra-body, I also tried fitting a classical guitar in and it fits nicely too. Three front pockets to fit some notes, spare strings or other stuff.

The padding around the whole bag isn't too thick, but it's hard enough to prevent any minor bumps on the way towards your instrument. Though I'd prefer for the inside of the bag made out of a softer material for my the guitar to lay on. Also the neck holder is really loose, and even on it's tightest, the neck doesn't stay still at all.

The handling of the bag is great. The handle on the left is nicely padded, other than a little thin to my hand. The shoulder straps are also nicely padded, and being able to hide the straps under the zippers is a really nice touch.

Asiallinen kitaralaukku

Laadukkaan oloinen kitaralaukku. Juuri täydellisen kokoinen Takamine EG440SC kitaralleni. Toisin sanoen, sopii Takaminen NEX-kokoluokan kitaroille täydellisesti.

Materiaali on kestävän oloista. Tällä hetkellä käyttöä on ollut vasta pari viikkoa, joten pitkäaikaisesta kestävyydestä ei ole tietoa.

Pärjää mielestäni vertailussa kalliimmillekin laukuille. Hinnakkaammissa vaihtoehdoissa voi tulla toki laaduukkaammat selkähihnat. Omassa satunnaisessa keikkailussa menee aivan täysin.

Toppaukset ovat noin 20mm paksut ja kärsii nakata kitaran takakontiin tässä laukussa, kunhan ei aivan alimmaksi laita.

Loistava kassi

Aivan loistava kitaran kantokassi. Erittäin tukeva ja ei kasaannu kasaan. Suojaa kitaraa (ja varsinkin sen kaulaa) erinomaisesti. Hintaansa nähden aivan uskomaton ryöstö. Suosittelen!
