Thin and too bright

I was surprised how thin the rug was. It does have a rubber bottom of some sort but I feel like the description "inhibits certain sound wave frequencies" is more a technicality than an effective reality.

Also, the color was brighter than I thought it would be. Maybe me screen showed the picture unrealistically or maybe the particular rug I got really was brighter than the average one. Anyhow, I felt the rug really stood out in my room instead of being a peaceful and nice-looking element.

Very nice drum rug

The rug looks amazing, and the pigment is great (proper red). The rug would also look great just as a rug in the living room (even considered leaving it at home rather than taking it to the practice pad...)!

However, if you've got an enormous drum kit, the rug might not be large enough - I've got a pretty small kit (20' bass drum with only two toms), and it fits nicely. However, any larger kit wouldn't probably fit.
