Very decent ocarina for the price

I bought this after deciding to widen my wind instrument collection and skills. This is my first ocarina and I'm mostly quite happy with it. The only downside is a bit flat tuning, even when blowing with a lot of pressure.

As a person with really small hands and fingers, it is a bit of challenge to cover the hole designated for left pinky and having the same hand ring finger cover its own hole. It's not impossible but requires some stretching.

Even if the flatness of tuning makes it a bit harder to play with other people, I'd still say this is a really sturdy and well-made ocarina, definitely worth the price. I'll probably purchase another at some point to see if the flatness is just on this one or if it's common in these.

Für den Anfang: Okarinas aus Plastik sind definitiv nicht mit Ton Okarinas zu vergleichen!
Allerdings muss man sagen, dass dieses Instrument um einiges robuster ist und man es nicht so sehr mit Samthandschuhen anfasst, wie man das bei den -deutlich teureren- Keramikokarinas macht.
Außerdem wird das Instrument erfreulich wenig heiser!
Die Ansprache ist hervorragend und die Töne selbst in hohen Lagen noch klar!

Für den Preis ein wirklich gutes Instrument! Nur auf Dauer steigt man vermutlich dann doch eher auf eine Keramik Okarina um.
Für Anfänger und zum Mitnehmen jedoch wirklich eine super gute Wahl!

wolltein mein blockflötenspiel etwas pep bringen. hatte mal Okarina aus ton ist aber leider defekt. Okarina aus Kunststoff sehr robust und für mich schöner klang. durch ähnliche griffe wie Blockflöte ist der umstieg nicht schwierig. danke an thomann. instrument würde ich weiterempfehlen.

Produit conforme a mes attentes ( pour offrir donc j'espère avoir fait une heureuse dans la durée ) , le son a l'air plutôt sympa pour un ocarina en plastique. Je pense parfait pour apprendre les bases en vue d'investir dans un modele de meilleur facture. Dommage que les notice fournis avec ne soit pas traduite en français. Merci Thomann.
